The forum forestier lémanique (FFL) is an informal forum for the exchange of ideas between those interested in forest sector issues located in the area of the Lac Léman. It includes practicing foresters, public and private, and forest sector specialists in international organisations located in the area.

The FFL meets periodically to discuss a topic chosen by the members, and for field visits.  It has no formal structure, but its activities are guided by a Steering Group.

The latest meeting of the FFL took place on Thursday, June 7, 2007. The theme was:

"Welcoming the Public to the Forest"
Adding value to the patrimony and managing risks

"Accueil du public en forêt"
Valorisation du patrimoine et gestion des risques

All are welcome to attend FFL meetings.  For further information, or if you have a suggestion, contact one of the Steering Group members.
